first off the kirby … first off the kirby is like 20 years old and ur dyson is what maybe a few years if even that 2nd u didnt adjust the height correctly and 3rd u said ur self that u hadnt vacuumed in a few days the kirby isnt going to pick up everthing in a matter of 2 min so of course the dyson picked up what the 20 YEAR OLD kirby didnt…
kirby totaly own … kirby totaly own the dyson its actually made from metal and neva brakes unlike dyson dyson is just putting there customers under an illusion that there so much in the dirt box cuz its not been compacted down like in a kirby
This is a Kirby … This is a Kirby demo in reverse. All vacuums leave dirt, it’s just whichever one goes last that “wins”. In the Kirby demo, it’s the Kirby. The whole operation from top to bottem is just a scam. Ask anyone who’s worked there.
what an idiot!!!!!! … what an idiot!!!!!!! I sell kirby! and dyson are junk!!! This guy didnt even put the kirby on the floor! I want to hit this guy! And how do we know that the belt was turned on!?!? What a d-bag
your dumb! you … your dumb! you didn’t lower the head to the carpet, then you went over areas with the dyson that you didn’t even go over with the kirby.
lol what an idiot, … lol what an idiot, if he wanted to prove the dyson was better than the kirby he should have a. used a kirby of the same age as the dyson, b. ensured us that the kirby he was using did not have a worn out brush roll on the powerhead, c. most importantly set the powerhead to the correct height level, and d. done what we do in every single kirby demo, vacuum 150 times with the kirby (correctly adjusted) before using the dyson.
Your demonstartion … Your demonstartion was done incorrectly you did not have the kirby height properly adjusted you did and then you went up a notch the second thing is you are not using a kirby bag so you are not getting max air flow, filtration or suction and last the kirby heritage is not a few years old is more like 20 years old, you can not compare one inch of suction that dyson as with 16 square inches of suction that the kirby has.
i find it funny how … i find it funny how bagless vacuums claim all-powerful filtration and then once you dump it out in the trash all the dust and dirt just flies back up into the air. plus people always claim its cheaper to not buy bags…. do you know how much the filters that go inside the canister cost for one of those things?? try $100-150.
I sold Kirby’s for … I sold Kirby’s for 4 years and I can tell you that the Kirby he is using is from 1987 and I could tell immediately that the belt was worn just by the sound when the power head hit the carpet. Plastic never lasts!
My miele is more … My miele is more powerful than my dyson it is stronger than the dyson on half power. The bag was three-quarters full. The Dyson canister was empty!
Dyson: approx 65cfm
Kirby: 115- 125cfm
Miele: 140-150cfm
What a dork … … What a dork … anyone that knows anything about the Kirby knows that if he would have adjusted it right, which he had it right then lifted it a notch … DUH without proper suction it doesn’t do right … WHAT A MORON!!!
New vac buyers … New vac buyers should compare benchmarked specs on machines before making a purchase decision. Modern Kirby G series vacs have vastly superior airflow (CFM) and suction (” H2O)properties over Dysons. 108 vs 58-70 CFM for example. 582 vs 350 air watts. The website greatvacs has a good comparison test in their vacuum research section. Physics simply do not allow a Dyson to win. You can get a barely used Kirby G in the online classifieds for ~$200 that will last a lifetime. Better deal, then.
dyson kickes ass! … dyson kickes ass! Thank you for telling me that my house is healthy when I vacuum with my dyson DC07 animal which is an awsom vacuum
I just purchased … I just purchased the new version of the Animal. This is the best vacuum I have ever used. You would not believe what my Riccar has been missing all these years. After many vacuums this one is the best, hands down!
Yea maybe the … Yea maybe the reason the dyson did so well, was because that kirby is about 50 years old. Try it against the Kirby Sentria… and see how “wonderful” the dyson is.
That is correct … That is correct neverseperat. I am a salesman for a distributing company called Trebor in Toledo, Ohio that helps market Kirby vacuums. The way you tell if its cleaning these floors is by the lower-pitched humming sound that is activated when you adjust the height. The proper way to do this is to raise the vacuum height all the way up, turn it on, and then level it down one notch at a time, until the vacuum’s motor activates.
